Aims of micro-project:
Aim:
To study the sub station equipment and there function and also know about there
specification.

Benefits :
To know about the function, rating, specifications etc about the equipment of substation.

2.0 Course outcome addressed:

a) Follow safety rules for substation
b) Maintain substation earthing and neutral grounding
c) Maintain the substation equipment and bus bar layout
d) Interpret single line diagram of substation
e) Maintain Gas Insulated Substation

3.0 Procedure:
A)In first week we all group members have collected the information about microproject
topic
B) In this second week we all group member submit topic to subject teacher.
C) In third week we all group members discussed about the how we are going to do this
microproject
D) In fourth week we all group member go to internet to check about specifications of
different components of substation

E) In fifth week we know about all information of these equipment and also know about the
specifications of it.
F)In sixth week we all group member make an report and submit to respectiv faculty.

One of the main roles of substations is to convert electricity into different voltages. This is
needed so the electricity can be transmitted throughout the country and then distributed
throughout local neighbourhoods and into our homes, businesses and buildings.
