required by the University for Degree Requirement of BS Mass Communication program.
This report has been prepared in peace with the guidelines issued by the department.

It is the result of my first experience in a professional environment. The report is the

practical application of everything I've studied as a graduate of the media at the National
University of Modern Languages. In this report, I covered the outline of S.A Productions and
details of my work and learning in the organization, the impact of work practices in the
future. I've done an internship in the documentary department. I have learned a lot of
professional knowledge from S.A PRODUCTIONS and got a platform to practice what I have
learned theoretically from university.

I have put all the efforts to summarize my knowledge and experience in this report,
to make it complete and to meet the reader's hopes.

CHAPTER: 1

INTRODUCTION

It was a three months’ internship program with extensive learning opportunities. With a
lesson plan including different dimensions of traditional and modern media, it was a
complete package. Practical exposure of theoretical knowledge was the bottom line of this
internship program. Implementation of basic techniques of script writing, video making,
video editing and the use of social media tools in an effective way are some of the salient
features of the program.
Mission Statement

At S.A Productions, we make the content very seriously. The company was founded with the
purpose of creating high quality content with an affordable use of resources, but without
ever compromising on content quality or ethics.

Vision Statement

The S.A Productions will incorporate values such as, continuity, unity, mutual growth,
flexibility, sincerity, positive dispute, harmony, sovereignty, innovative methodologies, risk
disposition, quality of life, looking ahead, shared visions and dreams and ideas.

SERVICES

Their work includes making documentaries, short films, web series, wedding and corporate
sector, ads etc. They shoot (raw material) and refinee the video content to its best and then
delivers it to their customers.

From the raw material to the final product, S.A Productions is committed to bring change to
life in the most dynamic way possible. We work with the best in the business and take pride
in every production we are a part of. Services they offer are as follow

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

I can say with full confidence that it was the most wonderful learning experience before just
start of my professional career. Other than learning the technical skills, I’ve also learnt social
and professional ethics here. The learning environment of the organization helped me to
imply the theoretical knowledge of Film & Drama Production in practical work.

Following are some of the key learning achievements:

 Content creation.
 Advancement in videography and video editing.

Knowledge Gained from the organization

SWOT ANALYSIS

Strengths:
 They have a high reputation for quality work to corporate.
 They have powerful contacts.
 They clearly understand the needs of the customers.
 They are Punctual to their commitments.
Weakness:

 Too much workload makes them so busy that they can’t able to publish their
content on social media properly.
 Give emerging content creators a chance to express themselves.
Opportunities:
 They develop a working environment that fosters personal and professional
growth.
 Promoting quality achievement and excellence.
 Providing a platform for a wide range of video creation (like ads, wedding
sector and short film production).
Threats:

 Serious competition in market as new creators are working and launching

their stuff every day.
 Inconsistency can leads to destruction.

CHAPTER 5

SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

 Must try to produce some good quality humorous video series.

 Web series is almost an empty field in Pakistan. So they must look at it.
 Start investing on documentaries (related to Pakistan and its growth in future).
 Focus on Tourism and Environment issues can really help to boost.

CONCLUSION

I perceive this opportunity as a milestone in my career development. By this internship I got

the opportunity to explore myself in a professional way of how to work in the field. I learned
things related to my niche and will strive to use gained skills and knowledge in the best
possible way. I work on further improvements on my skills.
