Self-Introduction

Hello, my name is Ryzza Marie D. Perdido. Most people call me Ryzza

(pronounced as “riza”) but my family call me Kang-kang which I also do not know

where they got from. I am 24 years old from the Home of the Champions General

Santos City. My favorite past time is to read books, the books that I read helps me

escape once in a while from my responsibilities and bring me to the journey of the

characters. Unlike many, I am not fond of social media because I don’t see the need

to let people know the things that I do or the other way around. I mostly keep to myself

and seize whatever moment I am in. If you were to look at my personality it would be

quite hard to imagine me as a teacher for I am not so sociable but I can say that I have

completely different attitude whenever I am teaching, it’s like having my pupils in front

of me makes me more jolly and sociable.

I am a graduate of Bachelor in Elementary major in General Education from

Notre Dame of Dadiangas University. Currently, I am employed at General Santos

Hope Christian School as an elementary teacher in the levels 1, 2, and 4. Even though

education is not my first choice, I have grown to love my profession because of my

pupils. I enjoy teaching them and seeing them grow as individuals. I wish to finish my

masters degree and to proceed and get my doctorate degree in the future. I am hoping

that this class would help me learn more about my profession and appreciate my job

as a teacher as well.
