Dear Honorable Magayones:
This is to acknowledge your letter expressing your concern about the hapless
flights of the residents of your barangay. It was alleged that Mr. Marvin Marticio,
former Punong Barangay of Brgy. Pansud, Lapaz, Leyte, was trying to contest the
rights of the residents in the disputed parcel of land with the alleged involvement of
couple PMAJ JOHN REY R LAYOG and PMAJ SHEENA S LAYOG.
As representative of the residents of the Brgy Pansud, Lapaz, Leyte, we are
providing you the result of our investigation relative to your concern. Please be
informed that this PRO conducted investigation on the field and we found out there is
no truth on the alleged involvement of the said couple in the said issue. During the
interview, the concerned residents negated the allegations that said couple
supported Mr. Marticio in harassing and threatening the resident of Brgy Pansud,
Lapaz, Leyte. They might have misconstrued the frequent company of the couple
during the recreational motorcycle ride with Raymart Matricio who frequently went to
Brgy Pansud, Lapaz, Leyte after the said activity to rest. The couple PMAJ JOHN
REY R LAYOG and PMAJ SHEENA S LAYOG are close friends of Mr. Raymart
Marticio, son of Mr. Marvin Marticio, and other members of a motor riders' club.
Being in frequent company with Mr. Raymart Marticio and other members of the
rider’s club is not a violation of any rules unless there is an overt act by the couple
unacceptable to the established norms and conduct and other policies of the PNP.
The issue between your constituents and Mr Matricio is civil in nature. Thus
we, advised to settle the matter in the proper forum in order to maintain the peace
and tranquility of their community.
