In this globalized era, English is a popular international language used in the world and is
also a language that is very often used for daily communication. According to research,
English proficiency is closely linked to a country's progress. Besides that English is also not
only used in communication. This language is also often used in the field of technology,
academic interests as well as in international trade and career development. Therefore, it is
quite important to learn this language. Therefore it is quite important to learn this English
language, here are some reasons for the importance of learning English.

English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. It is the primary or
secondary language in many countries. Learning English opens up opportunities to
communicate with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds, both in person and online.

For about two months we have learned a lot of English material, the material is varied or
various and easily understood by all students in the class. Many materials or vocabulary that
we did not know before became known. A small example is the writing or mentioning of
words that are still incorrect, and also English formulas that we don't know much about. This
English material starts with self-introduction to friends and lecturers, here we learn how to
introduce ourselves correctly and loudly in front of many people. The second material is to
describe your idol or favorite person, by presenting from their weight to their personality. The
third material is describing a place, the place presented is a place you have visited or a place
to be visited. The presentation is done randomly and chosen by the lecturer. The fourth
material is describing work by means of a different presentation method than before, namely
students come forward and then given one job and describe it in detail, then the audience
guesses what the job has been described. The fifth material is describing objects in the energy
engineering lab and presented in groups. Furthermore, the last material is operation math
symbol, namely operating numbers or mentioning and writing in English and explained
online by the lecturer.
