Team Assignment Agreement

We agree with the information documented in this team charter, and will try our best to uphold
this charter, including the following guidelines:
1) Understand the expectations of the assignment including key deliverables and timelines.
2) Discussing with my teammates our mutual expectations for achievement on the project (for
example, if you both want to get a good grade, what does that mean to each of you? Are
there any discrepancies in expectations?).
3) Demonstrate positive, cohesive teamwork while completing the assignment.
4) Make equal contributions to the success of the assignment.
5) Participate in all activities required to complete the assignment.
6) Listen to my teammates’ ideas and make decisions in the best interests of completing the
assignment successfully.
7) Be supportive of the efforts and initiatives of my teammates and others involved in the
assignment.
8) Be respectful at all times with my teammates and others involved with the assignment.
9) Include any other mutual guidelines specific to your team:

10) Follow the steps below if one of my teammates does not follow these guidelines:
a) Verbal reminder by phone that one of the above guidelines is not being met (document
the date, time and what was said). If the situation is not resolved, then:
b) Written email notice to the individual, including a clear statement of which guideline is
not being met, with copy to the course instructor. At this stage, the instructor will
intervene to discuss next steps with the team.
