Preface
This study material has been prepared exclusively for the Classroom Training of students for IIT-JEE.
This martial is complete from the point of view of IIT-JEE/AIEEE/State level Syllabus.

The language in describing the theory is interactive and has been prepared from the classroom experience
of the faculty of Newton Tutorials Pvt. Ltd.

The theory is explained by interspersing the concepts with Illustrations.

A set of solved objective problems and subjective problems follow the theory. These have to be
attempted by the students on their own and the students should consult the solutions provided only after
several attempts.

Graded Exercises succeed the solved problems. Grading helps the students to go from simple problems
to more and more complex problems that may include several concepts, of a topic. There are six levels of
exercises. Exercise – I have CBSE based problems, Exercise – II have AIEEE level objective
problems, Exercise – III have IIT-JEE type objective problems (having single choice correct) and
Exercise – IV have IIT-JEE type objective problems (having more than one choice correct),
Exercise – V have match the following type, assertion –reason type and passage based problems and
Exercise – VI have numerical/subjective based problems.

It is vital that students study this material before coming for the classes. This helps better assimilation by
the students and creates more time in the class for problem solving.

Wishing you success in IIT-JEE.
