QUESTIONS

1. Did you ate more foods high in simple or complex carbohydrates? Is this typical of the
Filipino diet?

I ate more foods high in complex carbohydrates. It is the typical filipino diet because
filipino’s eat more complex carbohydrates than simple.
2. Does it matter if one eats more simple or more complex carbohydrates? Why?

Yes, whether you consume more simple or complex carbs matters since they have
various impacts on your body, particularly your blood sugar levels and overall health.

CONCLUSION

Both simple and complex carbs are necessary components of a well-balanced diet. Simple carbs
give immediate energy, but complex carbohydrates supply sustained energy as well as vital
nutrients. To promote general health and well-being, a balanced diet should contain a range of
carbohydrate sources, with an emphasis on complex carbs. As part of a well-rounded and healthy
diet, it is critical to be conscious of the quality and quantity of carbohydrate consumption.
