SUBJECT: TONER MARKS ON THE REAR SIDE OF COPIES

SYMPTOM:

COPY QUALITY
Toner marks appear on the rear side of the copies.

CAUSE:
Toner adheres to the hot roller strippers and dislodges onto the copies.

SOLUTION:

The width of the hot roller strippers has been decreased from 3mm to 0.5mm and the pressure of the tension

spring has been decreased from 300mN to 50mN.

Must be installed as a set on units manufactured prior to the S/N cut-in. On units manufactured after the S/N cut-in or
3/S previously modified, use the new part numbers individually.
