EXPLORING THE WONDER-FILLED WORLD:

(Navigating Late Childhood as an Intermediate Schooler)

Late childhood: between 9 and 12 years old In between these stages, children
develop very quickly. Some various types of development occur in late
childhood.Boys and girls have experienced so many things for the first time in
their lives in this late childhood stage.

Those children are passing through this stage; their muscles have become
strong, and the development of the motor is going to be more specific. Also,
children can control their emotions in this stage from others.

In this period, children try to adjust to society and their families. They try to
communicate with their neighborhoods, friends, relatives, etc. In this stage,
children try to follow the person they like most. They always try to make fun of
others for entertaining their elders. Though they follow their parents, family
members, and other elders, the content of their speech and their behavior also
depend on them.

We want to support every child in realizing their greatest potential. They strive to
learn things, which broadens their vocabulary, with the aid of their teachers,
classmates, radio, TV, newspapers, the internet, etc.

is crucial while dealing with young children. You may support children in the
development of their motor skills by studying about and understanding how they
use their bodies. You can also plan different learning activities by being
considerate of the children's backgrounds and experiences. Remember that
every child is unique, and you might need to modify routines and activities to suit
each child's particular needs
