DataCard’s Year 2000 compliance statement is as follows:
DataCard products and systems shall be able to accurately process
time and date information into and between the Year 1999 and Year 2000.
ID Works™ photo ID software is Year 2000 compliant when the
following condition is consistently enforced:
• A four-digit year mask must be selected within the operating
system on which the ID Works software is loaded. In the Windows NT® operating system, this is done in the Date tab of the Regional Settings Properties window.
Any use of this product not complying with the above condition is unwarranted and is not certified as Year 2000 compliant.
It is important to remember that the ID Works software is one portion
of a system in which all pieces must be compliant in order for the entire system to be Year 2000 compliant. This system would include such things as the hardware, operating system, and database. For this reason, it is important for you to perform your own testing of the ID Works software in your environment. DataCard is not responsible for problems resulting from other manufacturers’ noncompliant components used in the system.
