From rickshaw driver to Driver of Development

I am Eknath Shinde, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra - a vibrant state located in
western India. Born and raised in a small village in Maharashtra, I have always been
passionate about serving the people and uplifting their lives. I had humble
beginnings as an autorickshaw DRIVER, I understand the struggle. Now I wish to
DRIVE development and prosperity across.
I have held various positions within the party and the government including the
urban development, tourism and Public Works Department portfolios. As senior
leader of the Shiv Sena, a party deeply rooted in Maharashtra's culture and ethos.
My mission is to ensure inclusive development, sustainable growth, and the overall
well-being of the people of Maharashtra.
