The Els Club Teluk Datai, designed as a tribute to nature is an 18-hole Par 72, 6,750
yard championship golf course set in the beautiful island of Langkawi, just off the Northwest
Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
Marked as one of the most incredible courses within the The Els Club collection,
The Els Club Teluk Datai is nestled within a centuries-old rainforest with towering lush
tropical foliage,
meandering its way towards the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea.
Overlooking the marbled limestone peaks of the Mat Chinchang Mountain range,
it is a sight to behold. Complete with a well-appointed open air clubhouse,
it’s easy to imagine spending a leisurely afternoon on the terrace with your favourite
beverage or indulging in some retail therapy in our logo shop which carries the latest in
both golf and lifestyle apparel.

ABOUT THE ELS CLUB TELUK DATAI

The award-winning golf course The Els Club Teluk Datai is just a few minutes drive from The
Datai Langkawi. The 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course was designed by the
legendary player Ernie Els and provides a grand game experience in one of the world’s most
spectacular settings.

PROPOSED RATES

WEEKEND RATES
STANDALONE – 18 HOLES WEEKDAY RATES
(Fri/Sat/Sun)
Malaysian Resident MYR 390.00 net per person

Notes:
- Malaysian rates apply to Malaysian nationals and Malaysian residents
only. Valid identification (NRIC, passport, work permit, MM2H) must be
presented.
- Prior booking is required and subject to availability.
- Deposit of 10% must be made within 7 days to secure the available date

Golfing Rates include:
- 18 holes of Championship Golf
- Use of a shared electric golf cart with a state-of-the-art Visage GPS
system.
- Golf cart stocked with bottled water, towels, tees, pencils, ball markers,
pitch mark repair tools and scorecards.
- Complimentary use of the driving range one (1) hour prior to play.
- Engraved metal bag tag upon completion of the game
- Access to our guest locker room and changing facilities.
- Golfers insurance.

Additional fees apply for the following:

- Caddy fee (not included in the Standalone Rate) is chargeable at MYR 120
per caddy. Female caddy can be requested and subject to availability upon
confirmation.
- Rental Golf set: MYR 180
- Rental Golf shoes: MYR 100

Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations made more than 30 days in advance will not be charged.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance or no-shows will be
charged at 100% of the per person rate, per person cancelled.

Proposal Validity
This proposal is valid for 14 days from the date of issued and will be subject to availability.

Dress Code
It is the responsibility of the organizer of the event to inform their guests about the dress
code policies, well in advance of the event date.
Preferred: Collared polo or mock neck golf shirt, tailored shorts and pants or golf skirts for
ladies, soft spiked golf shoes only, trainers allowed on the driving range only.
Prohibited: T-shirts or sleeveless tank tops, tracksuits, football or board shorts, gym wear or
bathing attire, steel spikes or flip flops and any denim

Players Draw
Players Draw must be sent to Sales, Marketing & Events Executive in charge five (5)
working days prior to the tournament in the Draw template by EMAIL only.

CORKAGE FEE
If you wish to bring your own merchandise (i.e s hirts, hats, balls) or F & B to distribute
during the tournament this must be notified prior to the event and must be agreed by ECTD.
A fee may be charged for this service.
