Subject : Legal Notice under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act.

Sir,
Under the instructions of my client M/S Spice Communications Ltd. having its
Regional Office at C-105, Industrial Area, Phase VII, Mohali (hereinafter referred to as
“SCL”), I hereby serve upon you with the following legal notice for your immediate attention
and due compliance:

1.That my client provides mobile telecommunication services in the State of Punjab and U.T,.
Chandigarh under license from the Department of Telecommunication, Ministry of Telecom,
and Govt. of India.

2.That you applied for a telephone connection by entering into a customer agreement and
thus acceding to your request my client allotted you mobile No. ___________.

5. That you issued the said cheque for the partial discharge of the liability towards the money
you owe to my client. The cheque given by you as partial discharge of your liability have
been dishonored and as such you are liable under section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument
Act for the offence committed by you.

You are therefore, called upon through this notice to pay the sum due on account of
above said cheque to my client within a period of 15 days from the receipt of this notice
failing which my client shall be constrained to file a criminal complaint under section 138 of
the Negotiable Instrument Act in the competent court of law at Chandigarh and in that
eventuality you shall be liable for all the litigation expenses and consequences.

Copy of this notice is retained in my office for reference and record.
