Balloon Rocket Questions (skip if you did the second experiment):

What do you predict will happen when we release the air from the inflated balloon attached to
the cup in the upcoming activity? The cup will rise but it won't go straight up. It will flutter
around.

How do you think the motion of the balloon rocket is related to the air escaping from the
balloon? They are the exact same.

Can you anticipate how the forces acting on the balloon and the cup are connected?
The force of the air in the balloon is trying to get out which will cause there to be a big jump of
air.
