Software Engineering Project Proposal

1. Title of Project: Library management system

2. Introduction: The main objective of the Project on Library Management System is to

manage the details of Student, Books, Issues, Librarian, Member. It manages all the
information about Student, Address, Member, Student. The project is totally built at
administrative end and thus only the administrator is guaranteed the access. The purpose
of the project is to build an application program to reduce the manual work for managing
the Student, Books, Address, Issues. It tracks all the details about the Issues, Librarian,
Member.

End Description):
1. Catalog Management: Update and maintain library listings.
2. Search Functionality: Find books/resources by various parameters.
3. User Management: Handle member details and histories.
4. Circulation Management: Manage lending, returns, renewals.
5. Overdue Notifications: Alerts for late returns
