THE IMPORTANT INTRODUCTION
You guys voted for content on how to prospect more efficiently, so here it is…

This guide will not save you if you haven’t watched the day 11 lessons of the
boot camp… and you shouldn’t even be here if you haven’t.

This is merely an extension of what you’ve already been taught, and it may
even double your prospecting speed.

Throughout this guide are all the tips I’ve discovered over the last 11 months
that have helped me go from 9 minutes per prospect to 2-4 minutes.

You guys are gorillas… with unorthodox prospecting methods that will make
you hyper-efficient in your prospecting process.

The tigers? Eagles? Wolves?

They don’t have the knowledge and the power you now have. And no other
legion is doing what I’ve done with this guide.

Now the power falls down to you…

It’s up to every one of you to find 40 prospects a day with ease and guarantee
the gorillas rise out on top.

With that being said, let’s begin…

3
HOW TO FIND WINNING SUB-
NICHES

THE BRAINSTORMING PROCESS:

Finding winning sub-niches all comes down to how you brainstorm.

Below I’ve shared my personal brainstorming process. Simply open up a

notepad and write down the 3 big niches, like this:

From there, you will simply expand within those big 3 niches. One line below,
press the “tab” key so your text indents. Then begin brainstorming.

Once you’re finished, you should have something like this:

From there, you’re going to niche down even further.

4
Go one line underneath once again and press the “tab” key to indent. Begin
brainstorming.

By the time you’re finished, you should now have something like this:

Do you get the idea?

5
You could even go further within those sub-niches, just to give a quick
example:

Within just 2 minutes of brainstorming to write this guide, I have 9 sub-niches

I can now comfortably search within (or even niche down further).

That’s an easy 50 prospects with just 2 minutes of dedicated thought.

BRAINSTORMING MORE EFFICIENTLY

Brainstorming should be done in deep work.

If you’re having trouble brainstorming sub-niches, put your phone far out of
sight and concentrate on getting into a flow state.

Timers will also help you 1000%, and the same goes for anything you do with
deep work.

Imposing restrictions on yourself (like a time limit) will push you to work even
harder. You’ll accomplish more simply by setting a timer.

6
As you’re brainstorming these sub-niches in a notepad or Google Doc, set a
timer of 30 minutes and always brainstorm within deep work.

Within those 30 minutes you’re brainstorming, you should have at least 50

sub-niches you can search within.

You won’t be as fast as I was if you’re just starting out, but you’ll easily be able
to find 500 prospects worth of sub-niches, and should be good for a long
time.

WHAT MAKES A GOOD SUB-NICHE

Simply put, a good sub-niche generally consists of 2 things:

● How wealthy is the audience?

● How big are their problems, pains and desires?

Let’s start with the first point.

Ideally, you want to be brainstorming sub-niches where the audience has a

lot of money they can throw at their problems.

Prospecting within the “how to get a job niche” is a terrible idea The audience
that searches for “how to get a job” is unemployed. They have nothing to
spend.

You’re very limited with how much revenue you can generate for a client in
this niche because the audience is broke.

Alternatively, searching for “investing in rural real estate” would be a much

better option.

Anybody considering investing likely has a lot of disposable cash lying

around, and they’d happily pay $3K for real estate mentorship. You can
generate a lot of revenue for these clients.

How big are their problems, pains and desires?

7
Another important, yet smaller point to consider is the size of the audience’s
pains and desires.

This won’t make or break a prospect. But let’s say you have a choice between
a breakup coach and a public speaking coach. Assume their audiences are
exactly the same size.

Which prospect do you think you could generate more revenue for?

In this scenario, you could likely generate a lot more revenue for the breakup
coach, simply because the pain of the audience is enormous.

Some of these guys just got cheated on by their wives of 15 years, can barely
sleep at night and are borderline suicidal.

They’d throw everything they have into a $5K program to cure their
heartbreak.

On the other hand, the audience for the public speaking coaches has no
deep, gut-wrenching pain (or desires).

They just want to stand on a stage and entertain a crowd.

So the problems, pain and desires of the audience could also make a good
prospect. But this is only a small point to consider.

It won’t make or break a sub-niche but you may find you can deliver
significantly better results for that client - and securing him on a retainer or
performance-based deal will come easier.

PROSPECTING ON YOUTUBE

8
THE KEY TO YOUTUBE PROSPECTING
YouTube is by far my favourite place to prospect.

If you’re searching within a good niche, 10-15 prospects an hour should come
pretty easy.

The key to YouTube prospecting is simply this…

Search as if you were the ideal audience in your niche.

Let’s imagine the niche you brainstormed was “dropshipping”. You would
search for terms like these…

● How to start dropshipping.

● How to find a winning product for dropshipping.
● How to advertise my Shopify store.
● How to write a product description.

All of the above search terms are something the audience within that niche
would likely search for. And they yield a ton of results and very good
prospects.

Alternatively, let’s imagine you also brainstormed “breakup coaches”. You

may search for the following terms…

● How to move on from a harsh breakup.

● How to get my ex back.
● How to heal trauma from a narcissist.
● How to start dating after a breakup.

Again, you’re searching terms the audience of that niche would likely search.
Learn to get inside the mind of the audience.

INCREASE YOUR PROSPECTING SPEED BY 10-20%

There’s a Chrome extension I’ve been using ever since I started copywriting.

9
This extension allows me to see the number of subscribers a channel has
from the search page, without even clicking on the channel.

You can see how helpful this is:

When you prospect using YouTube, you want to look for channels between
10K-500K subscribers when you’re just starting out.

This Chrome extension allows you to easily filter out bad prospects from the
search page, and save 10-20% of your prospecting time.

Simply search for the “VidIQ extension” on the Chrome web store.
Alternatively, you can install the extension here.

10
BYPASSING YOUTUBE’S EMAIL RESTRICTION
First off, if you don’t know how to find a prospect’s email through YouTube,
then you need to go back to Bootcamp.

If you’ve been prospecting on YouTube, no doubt you’ve come across this

error:

To bypass this, simply create a new YouTube channel. You don’t even need a
new Gmail account.

To do so, Google how to create a new YouTube channel using the same Gmail
account. This isn’t a tech support guide.

To alternate between YouTube channels, just click on your profile picture and
go to “Switch Account”.

Alternate between YouTube channels each time you encounter this error and
you’ll safely bypass YouTube’s limit.

PROSPECTING ON INSTAGRAM

11
WHAT TO SEARCH FOR
Instagram is much more simple than YouTube and this pretty self-
explanatory.

Let’s say your niche is “dropshipping”. Then just search…

● Dropshipping coach.

Or perhaps your niche is “breakup coaches”. Then search…

● Breakup coach.
● Breakup recovery.

You can also use hashtags to search within your niches, such as…

● #dropshipping
● #breakuprecovery
● #breakup

From that initial search, you should immediately have a few results:

INSTAGRAM’S INFINITE POOL OF PROSPECTS

This is the part where Instagram gets interesting…

12
Once you’ve done the above steps and you have a few ideal prospects, the
trick here to find an infinite number of prospects is to go to their “following”
page...

The following page is a hidden gold mine for finding infinite prospects.

You can already see on the next page that within just a few results from this
guy’s following page, there are already a ton of new prospects.

What makes this method 10x more powerful is that you can repeat the same
process on these NEW prospects.

Instagram gives you an infinite rabbit hole of prospects for eternity if you only
repeat this method.

Below, I’ve shown a few results from this guy’s following page:

13
If you’re using Instagram and you’re not already using this method, this may
be the reason why prospecting takes you such a long time.

14
PROSPECTING ON TWITTER

JUST LIKE INSTAGRAM + NUANCES

The process with Twitter is exactly the same process as on Instagram. Even
the infinite prospecting rabbit hole exists there.

The only nuance with Twitter is you’ll have to send them a DM directly.

Some guys have their DMs disabled so just look for the button below:

DM game varies massively from cold email game.

If I ever put together a guide for DM outreach, I’ll go over all the nuances of
this. At one point I had a 30% response rate on Twitter.

But just to give you a key pointer for your DM:

● Be natural. Don’t write it like an email. Write it as you would write a DM

to a friend.

15
ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES
As I mentioned previously, you’ll likely need to DM if you’re using Twitter
unless your prospect has a website with their email posted.

I’m going to dive a little off-topic here just to explain the Twitter outreach
approach in greater detail because it’s a platform like no other.

If you have no interest in Twitter, skip to the next section.

This DM approach has many advantages and disadvantages.

The main problem with Twitter that I came across was that most guys are
simply broke. Twitter can work for you but you may run into low-quality
clients unless you have PRESENCE there.

I also found fewer prospects using Twitter. Perhaps only 300-400 that really
fit what I was looking for.

But the hidden power of Twitter is this:

If you have a strong presence on Twitter (a large following, network, people

know who you are) then clients will come to you almost AUTOMATICALLY.

If you’re looking to take your Twitter outreach and follower growth seriously,
go to the Freelancing campus.

The downside to this is that if you have no following, you’ll get fewer
responses.

How to double your response rates…

Before you outreach on Twitter, you can engage with your prospects for a few
days.

Reply to their tweets. Let them see and remember your name. You’ll get
much higher responses this way because you seem natural. Not like every
other marketer who’s just out to pitch these guys.

16
I kept a spreadsheet of every prospect I wanted to outreach - along with how
many times I’d engaged with them (replied to their tweet).

If any prospect reached 2 or more engagements, I’d hit them up.

One final but crucial point to mention…

Make sure you’re following your prospects. You don’t want this to happen to
you…

And if you’re going to outreach using Twitter, understand that Twitter is an

entirely different game.

YOUR REPUTATION MATTERS. For this reason, never follow up relentlessly.

You see the screenshot above where my only follow-up was an emoji.
Nothing more.

Understand that if you’re reaching out on Twitter, you’re playing the long
game and your reputation means something.

LITTLE-KNOWN SPEED BOOSTS

17
THE POWER OF MULTIPLE TABS
If you’re going to prospect, do this on a computer.

Going through your search terms and opening up multiple tabs of all of your
prospects is a life-saver.

You want to systemize your prospecting process.

Instead of finding one prospect, entering in their details then finding another,
do the following instead…

● Search on your preferred prospecting platform.

● Open up each suitable prospect’s page in a new tab.
● Once you’ve exhausted your niche and have 50 tabs open THEN go
through each tab one by one and enter their details into your
spreadsheet.

BATCHING YOUR COMPLIMENTS

As I just mentioned, systemizing your prospecting may even double your
speed at times.

What “batching your compliments” means is that you fill in each of your
prospects' details first… then leave your compliments until last.

Only when all of your prospects have been entered, go and find compliments
for each one.

This really helps you get in the flow state and by your 5th or 6th prospect,
you’ll be finding compliments twice as fast as you were before.

Because your deep work is now dedicated to compliments, you develop a

sharp eye for what to look for.

18
HAVE A GOTO PROCESS FOR COMPLIMENTS
Have a compliment “template” or “format” you can always refer back to.

For example, when I used to prospect on YouTube, I had one compliment

format I’d always use.

I’d look at their most recent video. Let’s say it was titled “A-Z Dropshipping
Guide”.

Then my compliment template would simply be…

I loved how you broke down <dropshipping from A-Z>.

Then I’d make up some bullshit like…

I’m sure this is really helpful for your audience since making money
online is almost a necessity after COVID.

The point is this:

● I knew EXACTLY where to look to find my compliment. Every single

time.
● My compliment was easily repeatable - I could even paste “I love how
you broke down” into my spreadsheet to save me writing it out each
time.

This compliment format doesn’t work anymore so you’ll have to create your
own.

If you’re wasting 5+ minutes on a compliment that should take you 1-2

minutes to put together, go into deep work for 30 minutes.

Brainstorm easy, goto compliment formats you can use.

Get a good sense of exactly where you’ll look each time you want to find a
compliment and find something that’s easily repeatable.

19
SETTING TIMERS
I already touched upon this earlier in the guide.

But setting a timer for your deep work is crucial when you’re prospecting.

It’s a restriction you impose on yourself. This only makes you perform more
efficiently and work harder.

I’ve often set timers and found 50 prospects within 2-3 hours. But when I
don’t set timers? It took me 4-5 hours.

Obviously, your phone is out of sight if you’re in deep work…

So a little trick you can do is just search on Google for “1-hour timer”, or “90-
minute timer”. Whatever…

Google will start a timer automatically…

Just leave this tab open and you’ll even see the time update live at the top of
your screen…

And your computer will just simply beep once the timer is up.

20
EVERY COMMON PROBLEM SOLVED

CAN’T FIND PROSPECT’S FIRST NAME?

I’m going to assume you’ve been smart already and that you’ve:

● Checked the testimonials on their website.

21
● Checked their comments.
● Watched a bit of their content to see if they mention their name.
● Checked the “about” page on their website.
● Checked if their name is in their email address.

So if you’re prospect is truly anonymous, in the past, I’ve used “man”, “there”,
or “team”.

Once this is in your template, it just looks like…

Hey man,
Hey there,
Hey team,

CAN’T FIND PROSPECT’S EMAIL?

Once again, I’m assuming you’ve been smart here.

You should have already tried…

● The “about” page on their YouTube.

● If you’re prospecting on IG, look if they have a YouTube with an email
attached.
● You’ve tried using Hunter.
● You’ve scoured their website and its “contact” section.

If you’re not really thinking for yourself, I can’t help you.

I’ve had guys hit me up and ask “where’s the email?” and it’s right at the top
of the website… in plain view. Don’t be a retard.

But if they genuinely have no email, he’s a hidden trick that may reveal their
email address…

Check the “privacy policy” on their website.

Press “Control + F” (or “Command + F”) and simply search the “@” symbol.

22
90% of the time, they have a contact email in their privacy policy.

I’ve also seen some prospects get smart with this and write their email
address as “support(at)toddvdating(dot)com” or something similar. So be
really vigilant.

Skim through their privacy policy and they may have hidden their email like
the example above.

However, sometimes you really can’t find an email address.

If they genuinely have no email, they’re not a suitable prospect. Move on.

ONLY FINDING INFO AND SUPPORT EMAILS

Outreach info or support emails if you have no other option.

But Hunter has a useful tool you can use to try to find the owner’s email
yourself…

Go to the dashboard…

Then the verifier tool…

23
From there, you can try to search for possible email addresses and see if they
are valid addresses that can receive your emails.

If all 4 lights are green (you’ll know this when you see it), then the email is
good to go.

Possible email addresses may be written like this:

firstname@website.com
firstname.lastname@website.com

I’ve also seen email addresses with the first initial and then the last name.

So if your name is Rob Smith, for example, the email address might look
something like…

rsmith@website.com

Alternatively, you can just search for “<business name> owner” on Google and
see if they have a LinkedIn page.

Then use Apollo in the top right once you’re on that page to find their email
address…

24
Then go to “View email address”...

Again, if you can’t find the owner’s email, the info and support emails are fine.
Your niche may also be the issue. Some niches only use info and support
emails.

And I know some retard will ask this…

So an “info” or “support” email is simply…

“info@website.com”
“contact@website.com”
“hello@website.com”
“support@website.com”

You get the idea.

25
It’s basically any email that isn’t either a “gmail” address or a direct email to
the owner.

I’VE RUN OUT OF PROSPECTS

If you’ve run out of prospects, you could try changing your prospecting
platform.

If you’ve been using YouTube, take 10 minutes looking around IG and see
what you find.

But the easy solution here and the most efficient is simply to change your
sub-niche.

Perhaps go from “online dating coaches” to “breakup coaches” for example.

If you’ve changed your sub-niche and you’re still running into the same
prospects countless times, then change your niche entirely.

If you’ve covered the entire dating world, move over to social skills,
relationships with your parents, whatever…

Once you’ve exhausted a niche entirely, it’s time to move on.

I’VE RUN OUT OF SUB-NICHES

If you’re telling me this, you’re not trying hard enough.

You already know the answer… go back to brainstorming.

Give yourself 30 minutes of deep work and come up with fresh ideas.

Maybe you even noticed a few cool ideas while you were prospecting within
your old niches.

For example, you might have seen a video on “how to do a professional

photo shoot” when you were searching “how to optimize my Tinder photos”.

26
So photography coaches might now be an idea…

The point is, you’ll find sub-niches with true, dedicated thought.

Some of us have been here for over a year now and we still have ideas, so if
you’re still an intermediate student telling me you’ve run out of ideas, I know
it’s bullshit.

You’re just not applying real thought to the problem.

IT TAKES ME A LONG TIME TO PROSPECT

That’s why I’ve put together this entire guide. It’s a recurring problem I’ve
noticed.

But here’s a general guideline:

If you’re new to the game, it should take you ~ 6 hours to find 40

prospects.

Test this out and see where you end up.

There’s no reason why it should take you any longer if you’ve applied every
golden nugget I’ve given you here.

You shouldn’t expect to prospect at my speed off the bat.

I’ve been at this for 11 months. I know exactly what to look for when
prospecting so obviously it takes me less time.

You’ll get more efficient with practice.

If it STILL takes you more than 6 hours to find 40 prospects:

● Try a new prospecting platform. I’ve broken down 3 of them right here.
Their introductory videos are on day 11 of the boot camp.

27
● Increase your typing speed. I’ve made a post about this in our
announcements and resources channel.

You should be hitting this mark… regardless of your level.

Unless something is genuinely out of your immediate control like your

internet speed or the speed of your computer.

As I said, you’ll get more efficient with time…

And you should work towards hitting 10 prospects every hour.

This means 10 prospects with all their information + compliments filled out in
your spreadsheet, ready to be hit up.

If you’re already at this level, good.

A few of you are at this level and still believe you’re “slow” when you’re
actually on target.

CLOSING STATEMENT
By now, most of you should be prospecting more efficiently than before.

It’s up to you to implement every single tip I’ve taught you and you should
have learned something you previously weren’t aware of.

Also, be sure to scroll to the top of our announcements channel. A few of you
made student videos on alternative prospecting methods you guys can test
out.

28
Now, just a bit about my own story…

My first 40 prospects took me 6 hours to find, and I’ll admit I was half-focused
at that. Getting distracted by watching the videos of the guys I was
prospecting.

These are a bunch of tips I’ve learned along the way that has boosted my
speed significantly to the point where I’m hitting 15-25 prospects per hour.

I’ve given up almost my entire day to put this together…

If even one of you finds this useful, that’s enough for me.

I want every single one of you to succeed on your journey to escaping the
matrix and making $10K a month.

You guys are gorillas… and you have some of the most efficient prospecting
methods available to you inside HU.

With that being said… you’ve got this G. It’s time to put in the work.
