「each, every, all, both」
의미입니다. 「each」는 「각각의」 의미이고 항상 「단수 취급」을 해야 합니다. 「every」는 「모든」의 의미이고 항상
「단수 취급」을 해야 합니다. 「all」은 「모든, 모두」의 의미이고, 사람일 경우, 숫자이므로 「복수취급」을 하고 전체나
상황을 나타낼 때는 「단수취급」을 원칙으로 합니다. 【추가】 「either」은 「둘 중 하나」의 의미로 「단수 취급」을 해야
♣ 「each, every」의 특징
ex1) Each boy wants to eat hamburgers and pizza. (*each + 단수 명사) 각각의 소년은 햄버거와 피자를
ex2) Each of them wants to share their experience with us. (*each of 복수명사) 그들 각자는 우리와 경험
ex3) Every girl in my class was invited to the concert. (*every + 단수명사) 우리 반의 모든 여자는 그 음악
ex4) Every person has a right to know about the procedure. (*every + 단수명사) 모든 사람은 절차에 대해
♣ 「all, both」의 특징
♣ 「all + 명사」 구문은 명사의 수에 따라, 명사가 단수면 단수, 명사가 복수면 복수 취급을 한다.
ex5) All were disappointed at the result of experiment. (*all 복수 취급) 모두 그 실험의 결과에 실망했다.

ex6) All the attendants were satisfied with my performance (*all 복수 취급) 모든 참석자는 내 공연에 만족

♣ 「either, neither」의 특징
♣ 「neither of」, 「either of」 다음에는 복수 명사가 오나, 단수 취급을 한다. (*복수 취급도 가능하나,

중 하나를 읽을 수 있다.
ex14) Can I borrow either of your comic books tonight? 오늘 밤에 너의 만화책 중 어느 것이든 빌릴 수

ex15) Neither of them was interesting. (*were도 가능하나, 비격식체이다. *단수 취급이 원칙이다.) 그것들 중

ex16) Neither of Tim’s parents agrees with my idea. (*agree도 가능하나, 비격식체이다. *단수 취급) Tim의
