• Function as a liaison between departments and Human Resources to ensure a


seamless recruitment process.
• Work closely with hiring departments on job postings outside of Gallaudet University,
which must target a diverse pool of candidates; track and maintain a log that reflects
where the jobs were posted aside from the Gallaudet University employment page; and
identify and maintain a listing of all potential recruitment sources.
• Conduct active recruitment and contact talented candidates to apply for positions at
Gallaudet.
Coordinate the recruitment video production for specific positions on an as-needed
basis.

• New Supervisor Training (with the HR team)


- Presented our role as the Human Resources Coordinator to new supervisors and
what they can do to work with us.
• Red Flag Campaign (RFC)
- Trained the Student Life Team and paraprofessional students to be prepared for the
RFC week events and led the monumental “RFC On the NTID/RIT campus " event to
promote bystander intervention. The RFC uses a bystander intervention strategy to
address and prevent sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking on campus.
• Domestic Violence
- Developed the Domestic Violence in the Deaf Community PowerPoint and gave
presentations about it through a virtual video for Deaf people in Colombia.
• What is Deaf Culture?
- Developed and delivered a comprehensive Deaf Culture presentation during Omega
Phi Beta’s Week of Illumination aimed at educating the sorority/fraternity community
about the richness and diversity of Deaf Culture.
