Definition Present
Perfect Tense
Present perfect tense is a sentence pattern with a
change in verb tense used to express a past
action/event that is still continuing today.

So, the event has just happened, but the results or


consequences of the event can still be seen and
can still be felt at the time of the conversation.

In addition, this tense is usually used to show


events or discuss experiences/changes related to a
place.

HAS is used when the subject is He, She, It (other singular nouns)
HAVE is used when the subject is They, We, I, You (plural nouns)
