Activity #2: Prepare a Marketing Plan for your proposed business.

Briefly describe the product or service you intend to offer your target market.

The business which is mainly available through online shopping are made up of

clothes and accessories that are aesthetically created to suit the growing trend of

today's generation. From the colors to the materials needed, the business will ensure

that every eye meets the finest captivity that the products has to offer. The clothes

would be a combination of customized or self-made and a ready made shirts or tops

that will cater a variety of options to the customers as to what design they would prefer

for the item they're willing to purchased. The same goes for the accessories, customers

can choose whether they want the item customized or self-made and the like. Since

every transaction are through online, the products will be covered and packaged

carefully and securely to ensure that the customers will be satisfied not only for the

products itself, but also the service that put into guaranteeing the product's good

condition.

Describe the existing market situation. What similar products or services exist in

the market? How many others are making the same product or offering the same

service? Are they able to meet the needs of the market? If not, how big is the

unmet demand of the market?

Because online shopping is a popular mode of buying and selling nowadays in

the market, it is for sure a challenge for the business to gain competitive advantage
from its competitors. However, the business will utilized a more effective strategies to

further differentiate and promote the products offerings of the business. Most of the

products being sold in the online shopping platforms are clothes, accessories,

cosmetics and body/skin care products. The clothes and accessories are somewhat

similar or almost the same from those stores in the platforms, however they often differ

from the quality and price sets by the sellers. Due to this similarities, businesses in

online platforms constantly go for a more effective product promotions to ensure

customer’s demand. Therefore, there is no distinction specifically made for products, but

only for the price or amount per unit are different. This visible approach of each stores

has been used by many online sellers which makes them share an average market

share, which means that there is no competitive gain. Additionally, a growing trend of

clothes and accessories in the market doesn’t really focus on customization of design,

which the business opt to offer to the market.

Describe your target market. Specifically, what segment are you targeting? Who

are the people or businesses likely to buy your product or use your service

because they need or want your product or service and are willing and able to

pay for it?

There will be three (3) segmented parts that the business meant to target. These

are the demographics, geographic, and psychographic aspects related to the individuals

which the business would sell its products. Therefore, the target market of the business

are ages 13-50 years old, male and female, likes online shopping with a great sense of

fashion or has an interest in clothes and accessories.


Basically, the business target are teenagers to adults who's love for clothes and

accessories are put into fashion. Those individuals who has the willpower to purchase

our products with the basis of trying something new and different. Also, because we

offer customization, sure enough that what they buy are based on their own style and

fashion. Likely that these target market has the most interest in buying or investing on

clothes or accessories where these purchased products are shopped even at home via

shopping applications. There might be no physical store yet as the business will make

use of online trends strategy first to ensure a brand image and brand recognition among

its target market and/or potential customers.

What is unique about your business?

One unique feature of the business is its desire to give the customer(s) what they

truly want when it comes to styling their clothes or accessories. Because we offer

customized products that suits the customer's style and ideas, ensuring a little touch of

ownership as the customers can take part into designing their selected item. The

business provides a wide range of choices as to what designs the customers want for

their cloth or accessory. Curated with aesthetics applying with both neutral and pastel

colors, hopefully the products meets the satisfactions of every customers in which they

could have this encouragement to buy more products in the business.
