MA Session Prnjavor, 10 October 2003

At the session of 10 October, Prnjavor MA discussed a few issues of a great municipal in-
terest, such as problems in water supply and modernisation of the road network. But, before
touching these issues, there was a long discussion on the proposed agenda, which showed a
poor preparation of the session. As a matter a fact, a councillor from DNS even said that there
had not been any meeting before the session, and that the materials were of a very low quality.
He also complained that a very long period had passed between the two sessions, since the
previous session had been held on 23 July. He also mentioned that he did not understand why
OSCE representatives attend sessions of MA Prnjavor, when it is obvious they were not con-
ducted in the way the OSCE had been suggesting all these years. The information on water
supply and road network were finally adopted, as well as the rest of the agenda items. Sadly,
the session lasted almost eleven hours, where each item brought about a long discussion. That
fact shows that the expressed complaints of the DNS Councillor may have strong foundations.
