Hello how are you? Following the instructions in Task 3 of the Activity Guide: New Year's
Resolutions, I want to tell you about my New Year's resolutions and I want you to tell me
yours.

Angie, what do you think for the new year I'm thinking about making some changes in my
life? First, I must focus more on my studies. I have to leave work a little and give higher
priority to my studies.

In the city where I am, the importance of the new year is a party that unites many families
where different traditions are carried out and different qualities are shared such as dances,
foods and omens that should never be missing, they decorate most houses. in my

• What food/drink is traditional?


There are several meals where I am.
There is the sancocho, the tamales, the night roast, the rice with chicken, the suckling pig.

• What customs are there?
