In the new S200 Morris truck w e

have accented safety through vision.
W e have an gled both doors so that,
when reversing, the driver n eed
only turn his head. This g iv e s him
an unobstructed rearward view

I through the cab door window.

In addition, there is a wrap-round

windshield with gen erou s quarter-
lights, and a full-width rear window.
What is more, w e have incorporated
‘corneram ic’ close-up panels to
extend the downward range of vision.

Everything is angle-planned for

all-round safety and for swifter
turn-round.

. . . t h r o u g h easy access

In the angled doors w e also found the answer to the problem of easy access to, and exit from, the cab.
W e hinged them at the rear so that either one can b e op en ed quickly and safely, even in the midst of traffic.
They project only a short distance beyond the body line, causing no obstruction to passing veh icles or
pedestrians. They make it p ossib le to position the w ide step within the line of the vehicle. M oreover, w e
have located the grab-handle to fall naturally to hand. No lon ger d oes the driver have to sw ing himself
upwards with the door projecting dangerously. He can enter the n ew Morris S200 easily, safely.
He saves effort and he saves time—trims minutes off each d elivery run. Thanks to angle-plann ing!
One of the ways w e accented safety . . .
an instrument panel positioned right before
the driver's ey e s and cow led to prevent glare.

A large speedom eter is fitted, together
with fuel gau ge and warning lights
for oil, dynamo, etc.

Position-planned to simplify access, the

grab-handle is situated on the framing, aft of
the quarter-lights. On multi-stop journeys when
the driver is continuously in and out of the cab,
it's a great time-saver.

H ow ever tall the driver is, h ow ever long or short his leg s, this fully
adjustable seat lets him find the most comfortable position. Adjustable
vertically as w ell as fore and aft, it has foam-rubber squabs, covered
in trimmed P.V.C. A seat that’s planned to k eep the driver fresh
and on schedule. For further comfort w e have put in balanced-drop
windows, fully opening sid e ventilators, dust- and draught-sealing.
Optional extras include heater and demister.

checks and maintenance side, too. The radiator is filled from
outside the cab, easily rem oved panels allow quick a ccess to the
engine, while rem oval of the frontal panel sim plifies engine
removal. And the cab is all-steel, built tough to take it. Morris-
