Health, Safety & Environment Policy

APEX is committed to be a clear leader in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) performance just as it is in
managing and delivering projects for the Oil & Gas industry.
We aim to enhance our HSE culture at every level of the Company, through the active participation and
support of all management, employees, customers, and contractors.

To fulfil this commitment, APEX maintains an HSE Management System. The system is based on the
following principles:

• Support and commitment of company Top Management, who recognizes the importance of
protecting HSE in all its activities, and at every level of the Company
• Roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and communicated to enable the implementation of the
HSE management system
• Focusing on the identification and assessment of HSE risks to ensure, prompt and appropriate control
measures
• To provide our employees with the training and tools to ensure they have knowledge and skills to
perform their work competently and safely
• Continuously monitor HSE performance and audit key activities to foster the continuous
improvement.

APEX principal HSE objectives are:

• Protecting the health and safety of all employees and of anyone who may be affected by the
Company's operations
• Working proactively with employees, clients, contractors, public and governmental authorities
• HSE values will not be compromised. No job is so important and no task so urgent that the
necessary steps cannot be taken to perform it safely
• It is everyone's right and responsibility to intervene if there are any concerns that safety is being
compromised.
• Enhancing leadership in health and safety across the organization through specific Training.

• Reiterating the importance of APEX Rules and ensuring zero tolerance towards any deviation
• Compliance with relevant APEX Corporate Standards, National Legislation, and International
recognized codes, guidelines, and standards.
• Saving natural resources and preventing damage to the environment from company operations

To reach these objectives and assure implementation of the HSE Management System, APEX
Management provides adequate human, financial and technical resources.

Together, we will foster a work environment that holds management, employees, and contractors
accountable for fully implementing this HSE Policy and achieving t h e APEX “Health & Safety
Vision".
