Summary

This study is aimed to determine the Reserve Officers Training its Importance

to Criminology Students specifically it sought to answer the following questions:

(1) What is the importance of ROTC to criminology students? (2) What are the

problems in ROTC training program? (3) What recommendations can be offer to

improve the program?

This study used survey questionnaire in gathering the data. The researchers

obtained the valuable information from the community and the Criminology

student of Holy Trinity College of Camarines Sur.

This researcher made use of the descriptive method of research using

frequency and percentage distribution, weighted mean and rank. The primary

data were sourced from the results of the researchers-made instrument.

Based on the findings, the researchers recommend that the Reserve Officers

Training Corps can improve the Criminology students and must encourage the

youth and all college students to participate in the programs. The Reserve

Officers' Training Corps are very important to the criminology students because

this will develop their character and leadership as a college student.

Based on the above findings the study of the Reserve Officers Training its

Importance to Criminology Students are very essential and effective program to

the criminology students, it is also builds leadership skills and develop their

character as a student, thus there are several problems and recommendations to

improve the said program.
