This quantitative study determined the dating violence awareness of among

college students in Naga College Foundation Inc. school year 2021.

The descriptive research method was used in this study. Due to

the pandemic, data gathering began in September 2021 and ended in October

2021. Meanwhile, the study focus has been set on Naga College Foundation Inc.,

in Naga City for the academic year 2021. Prior to dating experiences and through

purposive sampling, the replies of 70 female college students from the colleges of

criminal justice education, teachers' education, health and sciences, accountancy

and finance, engineering, computer studies, and arts and sciences were gathered.

Furthermore, in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, their replies were

protected with the utmost confidentiality. They expressed their willingness to

engage in this study by filling out and submitting the survey via google forms. The

percentage technique and weighted mean were employed as statistical tools.

Violence, whether serious or not, physical or not, is still violence and must

be stopped. As a result, it is decided that the main goal of this study is to uncover

how Naga College Foundation, Inc. female college students who have had dating

experience see dating violence and how they assess their understanding and

perception of dating violence.

It was concluded that respondents are aware on level of awareness of the

respondents to the following type of dating violence as to emotional or verbal

abuse while less aware physical abuse, financial abuse, sexual abuse, digital abuse

and stalking. The level of awareness of the respondents on the early warning signs

of dating violence are less aware. Furthermore, respondents are aware on the level

of awareness of the respondents on how to avoid dating violence.
