DEDICATION

This study is wholeheartedly dedicated to our beloved parents, who have

been our source of inspiration and gave us strength when we thought of giving up,
who continually provide their moral, spiritual, emotional, and financial support.

shared their words of advice and encouragement to finish this study.

ABSTRACT

The research intends to deliver the perception level of trust and

confidence towards police station 7 of Zamboanga City Police Office.

The research design used for this study applies quantitative data
collection. The survey method was the used to gather data through the used of
Likert – scale survey questionnaire.

The respondents in the study were the residents of barangay

Pasonanca. There were 100 supportive respondents who participated in the
study.

One – way ANOVA, weighted mean and description analysis were used
to determine the perception level of trust and confidence. To compute for the
descriptive values gathered from the responses from the Likert – scale
questionnaire, from the weighted means, each value will be multiplied by its
weight. The products will be then added to acquire the total value, and the total
weight will be then be computed by adding the overall weights. The total value
will be then divided by the total weight.

The findings of the study revealed that there is a significant relationship

on the perception level of trust and confidence towards Police Station 7 of
Zamboanga City Police Office. From the result, the overall evaluation from the
respondents shows that they have confidence and they trust the police
officers.
