not only with our fellow human beings, but also
with other living and non-living elements in our
environment.

ANTHROPOCENTRISM
 Focuses on the important role of human kind in
the world and considers nature as the means by
which humans are able to meet the need and
survive.
 Thisview believes that human are the most
important species on the planet and they are
free to transform and use its resources.
BIOCENTRISM
 Fromthe word “bio” meaning life and
“centron” meaning center.
 Believes that humans are not the only
significant species on the planet and that all
other organisms have inherent value and should
be protected. This view advocates ethical
treatment of the animals.
ECOCENTRISM
 Place a great value on ecosystem and biological
system or community.
 Itbelieves that we have significant role as
guardian of nature. It also promotes the idea
that order balance in nature brings about
stability of beauty.
PHILOSOPHICAL VIEW
 Believesthat environmental aesthetics can be
defined broadly as the interaction between an
individual and environment in relation to
beauty
 Recognizingnatural beauty brings about the
apprehensive for the environment and helps
people relate more attractively with nature
ENVIRONMENTAL AESTHETICS
 Itfocuses on philosophical issues concerning
appreciation of the world at large as it is
constituted not simply by particular objects but
also by environments themselves
ENVIRONMENTAL ETHICS
A branch of applied philosophy that studies
conceptual foundations of environmental values
as well as more concrete issues surrounding
societal attitudes, actions and policies to
protect and sustain biodiversity and ecological
systems.

developing environment problem. It has
become an important issue in international
politics as government concerned effort to
discuss environment issues and formulate plans
