 Steering gear, including manual, auto-pilot and emergency
 Telegraph including control of main engines and

a. Is he aware of the location and operation of the auxiliary bridge equipment (e.g. binoculars, signalling flags,
meteorological equipment)?
b. Is he familiar with the stowage of chart and hydro graphic publications?
c. Is he familiar with radio room equipments (main transmitters, receiver, and communication’s systems)?
