PROGRAMME 2024-25

IIT Gandhinagar invites applications from BTech students from select

institutes for its Early Admit MTech programme beginning in July 2024.

Eligibility Criteria Programme Highlights

● Final year BTech (or equivalent
undergraduate degree in Engineering)
students from NITs with a CPI/ CGPA of
not less than 8.0 (General/EWS/OBC) OR
CPI/ CGPA of not less than 7.5 (SC/ST/
PwD) at the end of their 3rd year.
● Final year BTech (or equivalent
undergraduate degree in Engineering)
students from select colleges (including
NITs) who are among the top 5 rank
holders in the departments at the end
of their 3rd year for candidates from
General/EWS/OBC categories OR top 10
rank holders in the departments at the
end of their 3rd year for candidates from
SC/ST/PwD categories.
● Students from Final year BTech (or
equivalent undergraduate degree in
Engineering) from IITs with a CPI/CGPA
of not less than 6.0 at the end of their 3rd
year.
● GATE score is NOT mandatory for admission.
● Fellowship of INR 15,400 per month (for candidates
with valid GATE score) or INR 6,000 (for others).
● Candidates can choose to appear for GATE for a
boost in stipend.
● Travel support to the extent of INR 60,000 for
attending international conferences.
● The selected candidates may have opportunity
to complete 8th semester of BTech at IITGN
as a visiting student, before joining the MTech
programme at IITGN.
