Accent Unit Objectives


1. Phonics
2. Students can pronounce Chinese vowels and consonants.
6 Vowels: a, o, e, i, u, y 8 Consonants: b, p, m, f, d, t, n, l

3. Students can pronounce Chinese vowels and consonants.

13 Consonants: g, k, h, j, q, x, z, c, s, zh, ch, sh, r

4. 학생들이 중국어 모음과 자음을 합하여 말할 수 있습니다. (3 주)

모음(a, o, e, i, u, y: 6 개), 자음(b, p, m, f, d, t, n, l, g, k, h, j, q, x, z, c, s, zh, ch, sh, r: 21 개)

Students can speak Chinese words by combining Chinese vowels and consonants.

Tone Unit Schedule


1. Students will learn 4 tones in Chinese. (Week 1)

2. Students will learn Chinese vowels and consonants using flash cards. (Week 2)

3. Students will be able to pronounce Chinese vowels and consonants using flash cards. (Week 2)

4. Students will be able to combine the vowels and consonants to pronounce words. (Week 3)

Vocabulary

1. Students will be able to read and write father(爸爸) and mother(妈妈). (Week3)

Unit 2 Lesson Objectives in Level 1 Chinese


Phonice & 인사말 Unit Objectives
1. Students will be able to pronounce 9 new vowels(ai, ao, ei, ou, an, en, ang, eng, ong)

2. Students will be able to pronounce words starting with ai, ao, ei, ou.

3. Students will be able to pronounce words starting with an, en, ang, eng, ong

4. Students will be able to greet in Chinese.

Tone Unit Schedule


1. Students will be able to express the 9Chinese vowels(ai, ao, ei, ou, an, en, ang, eng, ong) by using
pictures. (Week 5-6)
2. Students will be able to greet by using simple Chinese. (Week 6-7)
