F(x)+: Why I Teach for the Philippines

After watching the video, I was deeply moved and inspired to teach better. I

realized that every time I complain about that the job is getting harder I should

always remember that in every thing that we did as a teacher will change the lives

of our students. We should always be careful on how we approach our learners

because the things we will do to them will bring a big impact to their lives. As a

teacher we have a big responsibility to our student, we are one of the foundation

that will be a great help in building their future. Stop associating teacher in the

word JUST because we are a Teacher not JUST A TEACHER. We are different

from other profession, they build houses, businesses, highways, etc. but we

teachers build human minds and that is the very important of them all.

It is very important that we talked about technology as one of the important tools in
teaching specially in today’s generation. Teachers usually used technology in teaching for
convenience and it really helpful in today’s situation. But it also important that we also talked
about the proper and responsible use of technology. As a teacher we should encourage and teach
our student on how properly used this for them to be safe and be responsible in everything they
post and do in social media.

GAMIFICATION

The topic is enjoyable and very useful. The game presented is good and it will surely help for the
enjoyment of student while learning. I am happy that I experienced making my own spinning
wheel and I also want to learn on how to do other games but there are no enough resources but
thankfully there are ready made games for us that we will surely used in our future students
hopefully when this pandemic end.

CANVA FOR EDUCATION

The topic that have been discussed by Ma’am Jerlyn is enjoyable and very useful. As a teacher it
will be a great help for me because it will make my work easier and convenient. It is also easy to
access and its free. I enjoyed learning how to used it there are more features that I can use for my
presentation.
