Want to follow up immediately? This tutorial on sending collateral will show you how easy
it is to set up and send marketing collateral to your scanned leads. The collateral feature is
available for SWAP users only as it requires the use of your device’s email client to send out
the materials. [CLICK]

Portal
Access

First, you will add collateral to your exhibitor portal account. From your desktop, log in to
your exhibitor portal account and choose [CLICK] the Connect tab and select Collateral.

Adding
Collateral

On the Collateral page, begin to set up your first item. As mentioned previously, the SWAP
app allows you to send a predefined email to your scanned leads. Input the email subject
[CLICK], the email body [CLICK], and hit Save. [CLICK]

You are then prompted for the collateral item, [CLICK] click Add New. Marketing collateral
can be a pdf brochure, a word doc or simply a link to your website. [CLICK] Give your
collateral item a name. We suggest using a term that will be recognizable to your staff.
Choose [CLICK] your Collateral Type and if adding a document, load the file [CLICK] and hit
Save. Note, the file size may not exceed 2 MBs. [CLICK] If adding a link to your website, be
sure to test the link to ensure it’s working properly. [CLICK]

Managing
Collateral

Once you have some collateral items added, [CLICK] you will see them appear in your list.
[CLICK] [CLICK] This icon denotes a file. [CLICK] [CLICK] This icon denotes a URL. [CLICK] To
edit the name or remove an item, simply click into it and make your changes. [CLICK]

Sending
Collateral

To send collateral in the SWAP app, scan a visitor’s badge [CLICK] [CLICK] and select send
collateral. [CLICK] Choose which item to send and your device will populate [CLICK] your
predefined email. Be advised, the default email client is used to send the email and
therefore replies will go to that email. Check your device settings to confirm which email
account is set as your default. [CLICK] Note, once you have sent collateral, a date and time
stamp will populate in their lead detail.

[CLICK] Forgot to send something? You can always go back into any previous scanned lead
[CLICK] to send or resend a collateral item. [CLICK]
