Workplace Feedback 1:
Observations show that skills have improved. There are few errors/mistakes
occurring with their work and they seem to have greater confidence and
happiness in their role. The team is working much better and there seems to
be less stress all around.
I have noticed that the coach has been checking up on progress and taking
steps to correct beahviour/actions where required. This appears to have
been a success.
Workplace Feedback 2:
Work output has shown moderate improvement. There are still some glitches
here and there but it appears that they are aware of when they make a
mistake (or are close to making a mistake) and they take initiative to work it
out.
They have taken coaching quite seriously and I think they will show further
improvement as long as the coach continues to observe and review their
work. Without this follow up things may go backwards in time.
Workplace Feedback 3:
There has been great improvement, this person’s morale has improved and
they are starting to believe that they can do good work. The time and effort
put in by the coach is clear to see. Work output is fantastic and
reports/observations from the team, customers and supervisors have been
glowing.
Their shyness is a barrier but with some further praise and acknowledgment of
good work, is required to keep building this person’s confidence. This
employee has a bright future ahead of them.
Workplace Feedback 4:
Coachee Feedback 1:
I enjoyed our session. I think I got quite a bit out of it. I had to ask a couple of
times about some of the explanations because there were a few things what
I wasn’t sure about. I am more confident about getting the job done properly
now. After the session was over my coach was pretty good at coming and
asking me how I was going and if there was anything I needed. Most of the
time I am okay, but recently I made a couple of mistakes.
I am going to ask for some more help, because there are a few other things
that I don’t feel as confident about now that I am a bit better in other areas
now.
Coachee Feedback 2:
I didn’t really want to have the session because I didn’t think I needed any
coaching, but someone said something about me not doing things properly.
I am really glad that this person spoke up, because I had no idea I was doing
things the wrong way! My coach was great, they explained everything
clearly and if I wasn’t sure I did not feel stupid or embarrassed to ask
questions. All my questions were answered.
The demonstrations were easy to follow and they did them multiple times so I
could see exactly how to do certain things. I had lots of time to practise and
they corrected me on things as I was doing them.
My coach works alongside me and so they are always there to call on if I
need help. We have a great relationship and I have been very fortunate to
have this experience.
The other day my coach wasn’t working and so I felt a little strange not
having them there for ‘backup’. I am not sure who else to go to for any help
because I don’t want to pick up any wrong or bad habits.
Coachee Feedback 3:
The coach rushed things through pretty quickly so I had to ask more than
once for them to repeat what they were saying. The demonstrations were
good, though. I think the coach is better at doing things than explaining
things.
I am doing much better in my work now and making very few mistakes. My
biggest issue is confidence, I really second guess myself and sometimes that is
when I get into trouble.
It has been hard to get support sometimes as my coach is pretty busy and I
don’t like interrupting them. I have seen them give support to other people
but they don’t come up to me much. Maybe they think I’m doing fine and
don’t need help.
Coachee Feedback 4:
I was really nervous about this coaching session. I knew I was struggling with
some parts of my job, but I didn’t realise how much until we met and talked
about it. My coach made me feel at ease and I could talk to them about the
things I wanted to learn. They understood I was nervous and we even worked
out that it was probably one of the reasons why I needed some coaching, I
lack confidence and get pretty shy around others. I rarely ask for help too.
So our session was fun, we talked about the processes and the procedures I
need to follow and what could go wrong if I was doing the right thing. I felt
comfortable asking questions and being able to watch them do the job/task
up close was very helpful. I was nervous about demonstrating because I felt
like I was going to mess it up really badly, but they were patient and talked
through the steps the first time I demonstrated. Then I had some time to
practise. It took a little bit of time but I feel like I’ve mastered it!
My coach has asked me a few times how I am going. If they are not too busy
they will stop and have a quick chat. I have also had a couple of emails
checking up on me.
My shyness gets the better of me, and it does interfere with my ability to work
with others and contribute. I am not sure how to get better at this. The coach
was great and I hope that other people get to be coached by them in
future, I found it really useful.
Coachee Feedback 5:
I was doing okay for a while because the information was fresh in my mind. I
got some support from my coach for about a week after. I don’t have to do
the task every single day, so I am starting to get rusty. I have made some
mistakes and tried to cover them, but I have had a few of my colleagues
notice and tell me to get help.
