To our PTA Officers who are with us today headed by the PTA President Mrs.

Grace Caballes,
to all our very supportive parents, guardians and friends especially those who are present this
afternoon, to our board of adjudicators, to all our active, participative and bright students,
Hearters, it is with great honor and privilege that I welcome all of you to the much-awaited and
prepared United Nations 2023 Culmination Day with the Theme: “Equality, Freedom and Justice
for All”.

This United Nation celebration aims to spread awareness about the significance of United
Nations work. Through this celebration, Learners are able to understand why it is necessary to
appreciate diversity. Learners are made aware of various cultures, and how people from different
parts of the world can co-exist.

In a way, United Nations Day commemorates the formation of a new era in history – an
era where equality, peace, and cooperation are valued above war. It signifies that humans can
come together united by their shared values of love, justice, and peace and that we can fight for
our rights together. The diverse cultures, traditions, races, and languages unite as one family to
serve humanity.

The UN Coordinators headed by our Student Activity Coordinator prepared some typical
school activities that the teachers conducted to our learners which includes the History Wizard
and Team Quiz Bowl. They also conducted community engagement activities such as Coastal
Clean Up, Numeracy & Literacy Tutoring, & Feeding Program. And this afternoon, together
with the Awarding, we will have the Mr. and Ms. United Nations for Elementary Category and
HS Category where the candidates will present themselves with the country they were fitted to
represent.

These activities enrich the learning and understanding of our learners on the importance
of respecting and appreciating other countries culture, on building good relations towards other
people and involving our self on community activities. Learners will understand how important it
is to maintain national and international cooperation, peace, and tolerance.

With all of that being said, may WE, not just the learners, truly understand, appreciate
and be grateful for all the works of the United Nations in keeping the world together for a greater
purpose. And in here, may the learners understand the essence of the United Nations through this
celebration, and may we also appreciate the efforts of our teachers and learners, hand in hand,
with the support of the parents and guardians. Everyone, Seat tight, and may you enjoy the rest

of the program. Thank you and good afternoon. 😊
