my hardworking and passionate fellow teachers, Parents, Volunteers, MGA KA BRIGADA. Ladies
and gentlemen, MAAYONG AGA SA INYO NGA TANAN!

It is my priviledge to give impressions or testimonies about Brigada Eskwela. Brigada Eskwela

gives us a vivid example of the Filipino concept of unity. It is a Philippine program that gives us a
picture that the spirit of volunteerism is still of great importance to most Filipinos, especially among
those volunteers, parents, teachers, and community members come together to prepare public
schools for the upcoming school year. They engage in various activities such as cleaning,
repairing classrooms, painting, and beautifying the school premises. Here are some impressions
and testimonies that I have experience with this Brigada Eskwela:

1. Community Unity and Involvement: Many participants are often struck by the sense of unity and
camaraderie that Brigada Eskwela fosters within the community. It's a time when people from all
walks of life come together with a shared purpose – PARA MAPANAMI ANG PALIBOT SA
TULU-AN SANG ATON NGA MGA KABATAAN. This collective effort strengthens community
bonds and highlights the importance of education. DI BALA MANAMI LANTAWON KUNG
MALIMPYO ANG PALIBOT?
2. Hands-On Contribution: Volunteers who take part in Brigada Eskwela often express a deep
sense of satisfaction from physically contributing to the betterment of the school. From scrubbing
walls to fixing broken furniture, participants see the immediate impact of their efforts, making them
feel more connected to the school's welfare. HAMBAL GANE NILA ITS BETTER TO GIVE THAN
TO RECEIVE AND BETTER KUNG IKAW HANDS-ON PAGID by simply volunteering/subjecting
yourself for help.
3. Impact on Education: Many testimonies highlight the belief that a conducive learning
environment contributes to better educational outcomes. When schools are clean, well-
maintained, and visually appealing, students and teachers alike are motivated to engage more
actively in the learning process. Isn’t it?
4. Empowerment and Ownership: Parents and community members often feel a sense of
empowerment and ownership when they actively participate in preparing the school. This
involvement allows them to take a more active role in their children's education and feel a personal
stake in the school's success.
5. Challenges and Realities: Some participants might share challenges they encountered during
the process, such as limited resources or inadequate participation from the community. These
testimonies can serve as a call for more support and awareness to ensure the program's success.
IKA NGA nila WALANG PERPEKTO SA MUNDO instead do something to make that things
into better one.
6. Nostalgia and Memories: Former students who return to their alma mater as volunteers might
share nostalgic feelings about their time in the school. This personal connection often drives them
to participate enthusiastically, with the desire to give back to the institution that played a role in
their own education.
7. Fulfillment and Joy: Many participants find joy in the simple act of helping others. Being part of a
positive change and witnessing the transformation of the school environment can be deeply
fulfilling and rewarding. Right? Lantawa ang palibot naton, dba manami sa feelings nga ikaw
isa sa mga nagbulig para maging maanyag aton palibot.
8. Educational Awareness: Brigada Eskwela also offers an opportunity to raise awareness about
the importance of education and the challenges faced by public schools. Participants might share
insights about the need for continued support, not just during the program but throughout the
academic year.
Overall, Brigada Eskwela is more than just a program; it's a testament to the power of community,
collaboration, and the shared commitment providing quality education for the youth. It's a platform
that allows individuals to make a tangible impact and invest in the future of the next generation.

The slogan of Brigada Eskwela, “Bayanihan Para sa Matatag na Paaralan” is adopted as this
year’s theme to emphasize the country’s collective efforts in promoting collaboration for safe living
and addressing social issues and concerns in school, at home, and in the community.

TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATION, WONDERFUL THINGS CAN BE ACHIEVED.
