INTRODUCTION

On-the-job training, which is a component of the college

curriculum, is to educate and acquaint students with the world of work

and potential careers. It's one way to let student put the theories and

calculations they learned in school into practice. In addition, by engaging

in real job, it aids in their acquisition of important knowledge and

abilities.

An OJT gives learners the chance to practice realworld work proce

sses with authentic tools, equipment, and documentation. In practice, th

e workplace transforms into a learning environment where trainees can

deepen their knowledge of their chosen subject and put what they had le

arned in school into practice.

However, this program also has advantages for the businesses who

take on trainees. because it offers additional labor at a lower labor cost

than a conventional employee. This approach to internships can be used

by employers to find new hires. Since the trainer or supervisor can

monitor the trainees' development, he or she can determine whether they

will make good hires once their internship is through based on their

conduct, performance, and attitude. In addition, the majority of trainees

are anxious to understand the duties and procedures of a regular

employee so that they can increase their chances of being hired by the

company.
