Heavy Rain Watch bulletin for Mauritius issued at 14h30 on Monday 01 April 2024.

An increase in the prevailing wind speed is limiting the formation of active clouds over Mauritius.
Hence, the Heavy Rain Warning is being waived at 14h00.

However, during the night, other clouds coming from the South may cause moderate intermittent
rain over the island.

There are still chances that the rain could be temporarily heavy with isolated thunderstorms.

Therefore, a Heavy Rain Watch is in force in Mauritius till tomorrow Tuesday 02 at 04h00.

The situation is being monitored closely by the Mauritius Meteorological Services and this bulletin
will be updated depending upon the evolution of the weather.
