C - LOADING THE MASTER MODULE PROGRAM

The master module, which provides the operating logic, is supplied

without any programming. It is therefore advisable to load the appro-
priate program: contact your After-Sales service to determine the ver-
sion you require.

2
- Use the battery cut-out to switch the platform off.

- Take the memory and insert it in its slot 4 (Fig. B1), with the cover
facing outward matching that for slot 5 (Fig. B1).

- Use the battery cut-out to switch the platform on.

- The program loads automatically: the red LED 6 (Fig. B1) is perma-
nently lit throughout this operation.

- Once loading is complete, the red LED 6 (Fig. B1) starts to flash once
a second.

- Use the battery cut-out to switch the [platform off.

- Remove the memory.

If the memory is left in place, the machine will refuse to make any
movements.

D - DIAGNOSTIC AND ADJUSTMENT TOOLS

1 - TO PLATFORM NO. 506128: POCKET DIAGNOSTICS KIT

- The Pocket kit, Ref. 597611 (Fig. D1) is used to adjust the platform's D1
various electronic modules.

- The pocket kit is also used as a diagnostic tool showing the values
for the various parameters and the status of all the inputs and outputs
on the modules depending on the action instructed.

- To do this, please refer to paragraph E - USING THE POCKET KIT

AND THE DISPLAY and F - SUMMARY OF USING THE POCKET
KIT AND THE 'DISPLAY in the main View Inputs/Outputs menu.

1
A - LOCATION OF THE SENSORS

- Please refer to Chapter LOCATION OF THE ELECTRICAL COM-

PONENTS.

B - AJUSTING THE TILT SENSOR

The tilt sensors are preset by the manufacturer. The only parameter
that can be modified is the sensor's initialisation.

- Set the platform on an even horizontal surface and leave it switched B1

on.

- Open the right-hand cowl.

- Take an electric wire 1.5m long, stripped at both ends, and connect
one end to the "-" terminal 1 (Fig. B1) on the battery unit.

- Bring this wire to the left-hand side of the machine.

1
- Remove the fixing screws from the left-hand cowl (2 screws, No. 13
spanner) and remove the cowl.

- Locate the tilt sensor situated behind the base console.

Check that the sensor's angle described in 2 (Fig. B2) agrees with
the manufacturer's plate on the machine.

- Take the unconnected wire 3 (Fig. B2) coming from the sensor. B2
3
- Remove the plastic cap 4 (Fig. B2) (flat screwdriver) in the end of
the wire.

- Take the wire connected to the battery and connect it to the tilt sen-
sor wire: 2 4
- The green LED situated under the sensor will flash seve-

In normal operation, the green LED is lit and only goes out if the
value for the tilt angle is exceeded.

2
C - ADJUSTING THE WORKING/TRANSPORT MODE SENSOR

- Set the basket in the low position. C1

- Locate the sensor/cam unit 5 (Fig. C1) situated at the back of the
platform, on the right-hand side.

- Loosen the sensor's fixing screws (2 screws, No. 7 spanner).

- Loosen the cam's locking screws (No. 3 hex spanner).

5

REAR

- Position the sensor and the cam, ensuring that: C2

- The sensor's roller is centred on the width of the cam.
- The sensor's roller is in contact with the base of the milling
on the cam (Fig. C2) but the sensor is not activated.

- Tighten the screws.

- Switch the platform on.

- Instruct the basket to rise until the floor of the basket is 2m above the
ground; then stop the ascent.

- Check that the sensor's roller is no longer in contact with the milled C3
area on the cam (Fig. C3).

- Instruct the basket to rise to the maximum extent and then descend.
Check that when the basket's floor is again 2m above the ground:
- Descent stops for a few seconds.
- Then restarts and the beeper sounds intermittently until the
basket reaches its low position.

D - ADJUSTING THE 'ANTI-ROLLOVER BARS EXTENDED'

SENSOR

80-8-81-M.86

- Instruct the basket to rise until the floor of the basket is 2m above the D1
ground; then stop the ascent. (The anti-rollover bars must have
extended).

- Remove the fixing screws from the left-hand cowl (2 screws, No. 13
spanner) and remove the cowl.

- Open the right-hand cowl.

6
- Locate the accessible inductive sensors against the rear upright 6
(Fig. D1) inside the chassis. See Chapter LOCATION OF THE ELEC-
TRICAL COMPONENTS for more details.

3
- Loosen the lock nuts 7 (Fig. D2) (No. 24 spanner). D2
- Screw in or unscrew the sensors 8 (Fig. D2) until their LED, located

'DISPLAY for the location of and how to connect the equipment.

- Use the basket console (Fig. A) and position yourself next to the left-
hand box to read the parameters from the display.

- Select the desired menu using the summary.

4
- Proceed as follows:
- Activate the trigger 1 (Fig. A).
- Push the manipulator lever 2 (Fig. A) forwards without acti-
vating the trigger.
- Pull the manipulator lever 2 (Fig. A) backwards without acti-
vating the trigger.
- Press the top left-hand button 3 (Fig. A).
- Press the top right-hand button 3 (Fig. A).

- On each action, check the display to read the status of the inputs and
outputs at the neutral point and then when the contactor is activated
forwards and backwards.

With a voltmeter.

- Take a voltmeter and climb into the platform's basket.

- Open the front of the basket console 4 (Fig. A) (flat screwdriver) and
