The pie 6 presents the possible effects when someone's using social media excessively.

According to twenty-nine percent (29%) of the respondents they start to forget their daily
routine or self-care. Twenty-four percent (24%) of the respondents said that it has a negative
effect on their studies. Seventeen percent (17%) of the respondents said that they barely
interact with friends and their family personally. Fifteen percent (15%) said that they
experience increased anxiety, depression, and/or loneliness. Eight percent (8%) of the
respondents said that it is when one always compares themself to another. The remaining
seven percent (7%) said they upload sensitive content for views, likes, and comments.

The pie 7 presents the importance of time management when using social media. According
to forty-eight percent (48%) of the respondents it is important in order to boost productivity
and efficiency. Twenty-seven percent (27%) of the respondents said that it is important to
determine when to use social media or not, and to allow a person to do urgent and important
tasks. Twenty-five (25%) of the respondents agreed that it is important to identify a person's
priority.

The pie 8 presents how beneficial social media is. According to thirty-three percent (33%) of
the respondents, it is beneficial because it allows people to keep in contact with family and
friends. Eighteen percent (18%) of the respondents were able to make and build new
friendships. Seventeen percent (17%) of the respondents use social media to obtain and
spread information. Fifteen percent (15%) of the respondents use it to raise awareness about
important topics.. Eleven percent (11%) of the respondents said it provides and helps them
seek emotional support from others. Six percent (6%) of the respondents use it as a platform
for sharing of talent and creativity.

The pie 9 presents the reasons why social media is not beneficial. According to fifty-two
percent (52%) of the respondents said it is because they became addicted to it. Twenty-eight
percent (28%) of the respondents said they became insecure about themselves and/or their
lives. Thirteen percent (13%) of the respondents said they feel anxious, stressed, and/or
depressed. Five percent (5%) of the respondents experienced cyberbullying. The remaining
two percent (2%) of respondents said it only distracts them.

The pie 10 presents the negative impacts of social media on mental health. According to
thirty-five percent (35%) of respondents, social media negatively affects their mental health
because they feel insecure about their appearance when seeing posts. Thirty-one percent
(31%) said that it made them envy other people's lives. Twenty-four percent (24%) of the
respondents said it doesn't affect their mental health negatively. Six percent (6%) of the
respondents received negative comments about themselves. Two percent (2%) of the
respondents were cyberbullied., and another two percent (2%) said that social media usage
worsens their anxiety, depression, and/or stress symptoms.
