Description: 3 Steps for Floor Mat Inspection

1. ONLY ONE MAT?

Double-stacked mat Single mat


Educate customer to NEVER double-stack mats. Remove, clean, put extra mats in a bag and place them in the luggage
compartment, passenger side or rear floor. *Add Operation Code 09TOZZ-MAT01 to the repair order with a
description of the correction. This process should be completed at reception in order to prevent possible accidents in
the shop.

a). Remove the double-stacked mat b). Clean the removed mat c). Put the cleaned mat in a bag

2. OEM MAT?
Educate customer that Toyota genuine mats have been designed specifically for each model. Remove incompatible mat
(see Step 1). *Add Operation Code 09TOZZ-MAT01 to the repair order with a description to ensure you have explained
the issue.

After-market floor mat a). Remove after-market floor mat b). Put Operation Code on the RO

3. MAT SECURED PROPERLY?


Replace any damaged or missing retention hooks (if required) and secure the mat using them. *Add Operation Code
09TOZZ-MAT01 to the repair order.

Unsecured mat a). Secure mat with retention hooks b). Put Operation Code on the RO

*Note: Add the operation code 09TOZZ-MAT01 and the CCC to the repair order only when
a non-compliant mat is found
