journey, and illuminating the path to fulfillment and success. On that note, I,
KHUSHI BAGWAR and I, DIYA MITTAL on behalf of the UPES SPE Student
Chapter welcome you all to the End of Year Ceremony for the tenure 2023-24.

The perfect way to begin any event is by getting graced with the blessings of the
almighty, so as we celebrate the beginning and approach the completion of the
spectacular year, let us rise for the Saraswati Vandana to get showered with
blessings.

K- LAMP LIGHTING

The light of the lamp signifies the light within, the positivity and the optimism of
one’s soul, keeping up with the tradition of lighting a lamp at any auspicious
occasion, we request the members of the Executive Body of the UPES SPE Core
Committee and all the faculties to light the lamp and to spread divine grace.

As we reflect on the tenure of our Chapter officer, Mr. Pratik raj Kar we are
profoundly grateful for his visionary leadership and dedication towards our
chapter’s success.

D- Felicitation of The Graduating Batch

The best view comes after the highest climb.

It took nothing less than constant endeavor and huge efforts of our seniors to make
what the Chapter is today. It is because of their diligent and zealous nature that the
UPES SPE Student Chapter is covering new milestones every day.

Today, as you embark on new beginnings, we want to express our gratitude for being
incredible role models to us. Your guidance and support have shaped us in many
ways.

We, as fellow members of the Chapter, have seen a fair measure of the ups and
downs of this session but with that we have also seen our seniors taking the
responsibilities and pride in the outcome.

Congratulations on your well-deserved success, and may your future endeavors be

filled with boundless achievements. Let us give them a big round of applause.

We would like to invite Dr. Sunil Khare to felicitate our outgoing office bearers and
confer our outgoing executive board, a token of appreciation and recognition for
their great work.

K- Faculty Advisor’s Address

Now, we would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to our
Faculty Advisor, Dr. Sunil Khare for guiding us at every step and showing us the way
to keep going. It is with his constant support that the Chapter was able to achieve
new heights.

Now, I would like to invite our Faculty Advisor, Dr. Sunil Khare to guide us with his
insightful words. We would request Our chapter officers Mr. Pratik raj kar to
felicitate with a momento to our faculty advisor as a token of gratitude and
appreciation.

D- Co-Faculty Advisor’s Adress

Now, we would like to invite our Co- faculty Advisor Dr. Rohit Sharma, who played a
pivotal role in uplifting our spirits to work as a team and encouraged us in giving our
best. His unwavering dedication towards the chapter was truly commendable. We
request sir to please share his words of wisdom with us. We would request Our
chapter officers Mr. Vaibhav Sharma to felicitate with a momento to our Co-faculty
advisor as a token of gratitude and appreciation.

Finally, the time has come for which we were waiting for. So, Ladies and gentlemen,
without further ado, we now invite the nominations head, Mr. Aryan Singh to
announce the results of the core committee for the academic session, 2023-24.

K-SPEian Of the Year

“The road to success is not easy to navigate, but with hard work, drive, and passion,
it's possible to achieve the dream”.

It is the hard work and dedication of all the SPE Core committee members that the
chapter is marching towards greater heights every day. So, I request The Chapter
Officer, Mr. Pratik Raj kar to please come on the stage to announce the SPEian of the
Year for the tenure 2023-2024.

K- Change of Batons

Today, we come together not only to celebrate our achievements but also to pass the
baton of leadership to a new era of excellence.

So, now we request our faculty advisor Dr. sunil khare to confer the baton to our
newly designated President Mr. Siddharth Yadav.

Now, I request sir to stay back to confer the baton to Mr. Garv Katariya and Mr. Md.
Ayan as upcoming Vice President.

Chapter director- Miss Gayatri Sethia

Now, we would like to call upon our outgoing Chapter Officer Mr. Pratik Raj Kar to
transfer the baton to Mr. Aryan Jamwal.

D- Chapter awards- Ever since the inception of the Chapter in 2009,

since then The Chapter has been engaged in a perpetual campaign to impart both
professional and technical expertise to budding engineers via world-class guest
lectures, networking opportunities and professional resources and thus, bridging the
gap between academia and the oil and gas industry.

The Chapter has achieved laurels like the SPE Gold Standard Award three years in a
row from 2011 to 2013, the “Presidential Award for Outstanding Student Chapter” for
seven consecutive years from 2014 to 2020, and the SPE Student Chapter Excellence
Award in 2021 by the SPE International. Carrying the legacy forward, we are proud
to announce that the UPES SPE SC is awarded with Student Chapter Excellence
Award for 2023. Moreover, it's a moment of pride for me to announce on behalf of
the Chapter, the great milestone of the Chapter for its completion of 15 years of
success. I would request FACULTY NAMES to please come over the stage to present
the award to the executive body of the Chapter.

On behalf of the chapter, we would like to call upon our outgoing vice president Mr.
Rounak Dutta to extend the vote of thanks.

D- Closing Note

“Set your goals high and don’t stop till you get there”.

As we draw the curtains on another remarkable year filled with countless

achievements, memories, and lessons, we stand on the threshold of a new chapter.
Together, we have navigated challenges, celebrated triumphs, and forged bonds that
will endure beyond this moment.

Having exceptional seniors is always inspiring, and we are grateful to have you as
ours. However, whether we like it or not, we all have to face the eternal truth that
everything inevitably draws to a close. Although goodbyes are never easy, they mark
the beginning of new adventures and opportunities. So, as you spread your wings and
soar to new heights, know that you carry with you the love and support of everyone
here. Thank you for being an integral part of our journey. Your presence will be
deeply missed, but your legacy will continue to inspire us for years to come.
