VOCABULARY PHRASE USAGE

谈何容易
tánhéróngyì
"it's easier said than done"

谈(tán)- "speak; said" 何(hé)- "how" 容易(róngyì)- "easy"

When you want to describe something that's challenging or not easy, use the phrase 谈何
容易 (tánhéróngyì). When you want to describe something being very easy, or would
likely to lead to certain consequences, use 很容易 (hěn róngyì) as the adjective or
adverb. Eg. "likely to slip (on slippery floor)" - 很容易跌倒 (hěn róngyì diédǎo)

For example...

1. 要成为百万富翁,谈何容易!
Yào chéngwéi bǎi wàn fùwēng, tánhéróngyì!
"It's not easy to become a millionaire."

明天⻅
míngtiān jiàn
"see you tomorrow"

CHINESECLASS101.COM BUSINESS CHINESE FOR BEGINNERS S1 #7 - SAYING GOODBYE WHEN YOU LEAVE YOUR JOB IN CHINA 6
明天(míngtiān)- "tomorrow" ⻅(jiàn)- "to see"

It's a very common parting expression, used when you know you're going to see the other
person the following day. You can substitute the day that you will next meet, instead of
"tomorrow". For instance, 周日⻅ (zhōu rì jiàn) "see you on Sunday"; 下周⻅ (xià zhōu
jiàn) "see you next week".

For example...

1. 我先⾛了,明天⻅。
Wǒ xiān zǒule, míngtiān jiàn.
"I'm gonna take off now, see you tomorrow."
