Dreaming for Peace and Freedom

Dreams stay young

How long has it been
Living gentle sceneries.
Since you’ve had a choice?
Sweet reveries full of joy and wonder,
How long will it take
Rescuing our souls
To make a change and have a voice?
From cruelty and oppression.
Before we jolt awake,
When will we allow peace to take over?
Courage we should muster.
How much more will we sacri ce
A wish for freedom and peace.
For it to happen
Awake from a winter dream.
And to bring us back
We ght for what is right.
To the shadow of what we once were ?
The dream for freedom and peace.
So far but not out of reach.
When will we see the bigger picture
And what’s greater than ourselves
