Robert John Downey Jr. is an American actor, voice actor, producer, and singer.

He began his

acting career at a young age, appearing in several films directed by his father, Robert

Downey Sr., In his childhood he studied acting at various academies in New York. He moved

with his father to California, but dropped out of school to fully focus on his career. After

numerous unsuccessful projects, Downey won prominence in the cinema by starring in the

film Chaplin (1992), Robert should have to consolidate his career much earlier, however, the

excesses did not allow it.

He was involved in a series of legal problems for drug possession, that led to his being

arrested numerous times, and production companies refusing to hire him for new roles.

Thanks to the support of Mel Gibson, who say him that him should return to acting, he was

able to return career.

Forbes magazine estimating earnings of more than $250 (two hundred fifty) million just for
his participation in Marvel movies. On the other hand, Downey has three children and since

2005 (two thousand five) has been married to producer Susan Levin.
