LANGUAGE OF PHOTOGRAPHY

I. General explanation: (What is Photography, What is language of photog)

WHAT IS PHOTOGRAPHY?
- Photography have a wide scope to tackle, breaking down the word PHOTOGRAPHY it came from the
Greek word photo means ‘light’ and graphy means ‘drawing’. Photography have a lot of significant
meaning to many like, it is a process of having a subject and making a background story to it, it is
capturing different memories from time to time and to generate this word it is something that we put
into process from capturing light into an image.
- Photography is somehow being compared with the question “what’s the meaning of life?” because it
comes from different variety where it has many types and facets. Photography is a unique way of
expressing something through your image.

LANGUAGE OF PHOTOGRAPHY
- Language of photography comes with the four common points consisting of light, time, composition,
subject, and color. These are some of the elements that make up the language of photography. Each
element contributes to telling a story.
- The language of photography allows the author to express his/her desire or purpose to a certain
photograph, in this process makes way to make connection and to better understand the main point of
view of the author.
