1.Why do they say that a picture consists of a thousand words? Briefly explain your
answer.
They can show us new worlds and help instills empathy. Pictures activate emotions and
can deliver powerful messages. They are a great way to feel encouraged, no matter
what the subject. Images shape our world. Some photographs can be inspiring, some
moving, and some meaningful. They feature humans, animals, and even the wonders of
nature. All of them are a reflection of our world; they have the power to capture a
specific moment in time.

2. In your own opinion, what is the importance of studying photography?

Photography is a form of art. When pictures are taken it’s a moment being captured; a
moment that can be either sentimental or influential. Photos have a substantial impact
on the things people see or do. It can connect people throughout the world creating
friendships and pathways. Photography has the power to inspire many people. An
inspiration that could lead to a change for the better. It’s also a visual learning tool that
helps non-verbal people communicate. Photography is important because it opens a
view into a person’s mind and allows them to convey messages. It’s a universal
language. Anyone can look at a photo and decipher its meaning or be influenced by it.
Photography has a positive influence on society by evoking emotions and insight.
Photography inspires people; it can influence the direction one may take in life.
