We wanted to let you know your medical certificate will expire on Wednesday, 01/05/2024.

We need you to either renew your medical certificate or let us know you're ready to look for work.

If we don't hear from you before this date, we'll review your eligibility for Jobseeker Support and your
payments from us may stop.

RENEW YOUR MEDICAL CERTIFICATE

If your health condition, injury or disability is still affecting your capacity to work, you can ask your health
practitioner to complete a medical certificate.

We'll use the information on the medical certificate to help us determine your work obligations based on
your health condition, injury or disability.

If you can't see your health practitioner before 01/05/2024, please contact us on 0800 559 009.

LET US KNOW IF YOU'RE READY TO WORK FULL-TIME

If your health has improved and you're now available to look for full-time work, please let us know before
01/05/2024 so we can continue your payments.

You can do this online through MyMSD (visit www.my.msd.govt.nz to log in) or you can call us on
0800 559 009.

If you're ready for full-time work, some of your obligations will change. This means you'll need to work with
us to find full-time work (at least 30 hours a week), attend training courses and interviews, and show us
how you're preparing for work.
