BEGINNING

A few months from now, I’m going to college and will have a new chapter of my academic life,
as going to college is my plan after graduating from senior high school. It would be challenging
for me to make this decision in my life.

RISING

Making a decision about what course I will persue in college is very hard, especially since I’m
undecided about what I will take. This would be very hard for me at this stage in my life. I have
two choices: either BS Criminology or BS Marine Engineering. Either one of them is the one I
will be taking to college.

CLIMAX

I am about to make my decision. I had to think more critically and wisely because it was my
life's decision. Since I was young, I wanted to be a police officer, but as time passed, many
opportunities came. One of these is the scholarship offered by Western Institute of College to be
part of their varsity and represent their school in the field of sports. It took a long time to finally
make this decision. So I had no choice but to accept the offered scholarship from Western
Institute of College, as their school also offers a BS in Marine Engineering, which is also my
second choice.

FALLING

In the last 3 weeks, I have applied to their school and taken my entrance exam on their campus.
It has been a hard time for me to let go of my first choice course, but this choice will open up
more opportunities for me.

RESOLUTION

I have learned that better and bigger opportunities come at the right time. Just wait for it. It
would be hard to choose what degree you want to take because it is not just a decision that you
can easily make. Don’t forget to think critically and wisely before making a decision.
